🚗 Hybrid Working | Immediate Start AvailableTelford & Wrekin Council is looking for an experienced Safeguarding Social Worker to join their dedicated Children's Services team. You will play a vital role in protecting vulnerable children, ensuring their voices are heard, and achieving the best possible outcomes for them and their families.This is a busy frontline safeguarding role, requiring strong assessment, planning, and multi-agency working skills.🔹 Key Responsibilities:Manage a varied caseload of children subject to Child Protection Plans, Child in Need plans, and care proceedingsUndertake thorough assessments and Section 47 enquiriesDevelop and implement robust, outcome-focused care and safety plansWork in partnership with children, families, and multi-agency partnersPrepare high-quality reports for case conferences, reviews, and court hearingsMaintain accurate case records on the council's systems🔹 Requirements:Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registrationMinimum of 2 years' post-qualifying experience in safeguarding or child protectionSolid understanding of relevant legislation and statutory guidanceAbility to work independently and manage complex caseloadsEnhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain)Car driver with access to own vehicle preferred🔹 Benefits:£33.30 per hour (Umbrella)Hybrid working arrangementsWeekly payroll and dedicated recruitment consultant supportSupportive management and professional supervisionRandstad Care acts as an employment business when supplying temporary staff and as an employment agency when introducing candidates for permanent employment with a client.
