If speculative CVs are sent, no fee will be applicable - please direct all queries to the relevant Resourcing Partner.Accounts Payable Clerk (3)HinckleyAn opportunity has arisen for three Accounts Payable Clerks to join the team at Galliford Try.Ideally, you will based in or around the Hinckley area as this is where our office base is.What you will be doing:We have three respective positions available within the SSC at the moment as detailed below:Plant Admin Assistant:
  • Understand the role of the Plant Administration Team, within the wider Galliford try Business.
  • Issue and receive WOW reports including updating of the Plant Module.
  • Be able to communicate effectively with the wider Galliford Try Business to ensure prompt responses and timely invoice resolution.
  • Assist with basic invoice queries, including uplifting orders and receipting where appropriate.
  • To help administer the SSC Plant email box ensuring all emails are dealt with accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist with reviewing the Outstanding Invoice Reports including maintaining the diary system of comments.
  • Work at a level to ensure compliance with SLAs
  • Work as part of a team and provide administrative cover for colleagues as and when required.
Purchase Ledger Clerk:
  • Purchase Ledger processing is part of the operational services provided at the SSC.
  • There are circa 20 Superusers/Clerks and they are managed by two Team Leaders - who report to the SSC Operations Manager.
  • Superusers/Clerks are responsible for the input of receipts, matching and clearing invoices, raising queries either manually or via workflow with the business units and interrogating a number of reports including Invoices On Hold and Prompt Payment Code invoices to drive down aged debt.
  • Additional tasks can be liaison with other SSC teams and building and maintaining strong relationships with key BU personnel
  • Key stakeholders are suppliers and business units including finance teams and commercial personnel.
Sub-Contract Ledger Clerk:
  • Sub contract processing is part of the operational services provided at the SSC. A dedicated team to provide support to Galliford Try Group.
  • There are 4 Superusers/Clerks and they are managed by the SSC Operations Manager.
  • Superusers/Clerks are responsible for the validation of AFPs, managing exceptions and resolving in a timely manner. Processing retention releases, contras and year end write offs. Supporting project team with contract moves, regression testing and VAT changes.
  • Additional tasks can be liaison with other SSC teams and building and maintaining strong relationships with key BU personnel
  • Key stakeholders are sub contractors and business units including finance teams and commercial personnel.
About You:
  • Have full working knowledge of Oracle re - GRN input, materials, plant, operated plant, CIS and Plant Module, SPPIP where applicable
  • Have solid understanding of HMRC Requirements ie. CIS VAT, and Self Billing in terms of Operated Plant and Contingent Worker invoices
  • Have solid understanding of Gross, VAT and Net in relation to VAT invoices, pro-formas and sundry payments
  • Work at a level to ensure compliance with SLAs
  • Resolve processing issues in a timely manner dependent on complexity and urgency, whilst actioning correctly within Oracle and with BUs
