
Contract Manager

- Lead the commercial delivery of fibre build projects valued up to £50 million
- Manage the full lifecycle of contracts - from tender and mobilisation to project close-out
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and subcontract agreements to ensure favourable terms
- Monitor contract performance, identify risk, and drive continuous improvement in commercial processes
- Oversee cost control, budget forecasting, and revenue recognition across multiple workstreams
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Delivery teams to ensure full contractual compliance and risk mitigation
- Champion health & safety integration in all commercial agreements and strategies
- Represent Circet in senior-level discussions with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Manage the commercial performance of subcontractors, ensuring alignment with main contract obligations
- Provide commercial reports, strategic advice, and decision support to the executive team
Experience
- 8-10+ years' experience in contract/commercial management, including 3-5 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven success managing complex infrastructure contracts, ideally in telecoms or civil engineering
- Strong knowledge of UK telecoms regulations, contract forms, and risk management practices
- Track record overseeing portfolios exceeding £20 million annual value
- Exceptional commercial acumen with strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to influence, lead, and resolve complex issues
- Highly organised with meticulous attention to contractual detail
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience engaging C-suite stakeholders and clients
- Proficiency in ERP and contract management systems
- Technical awareness of fibre network build lifecycles and delivery processes
- RICS, CIPS, or equivalent commercial/contract management certification (preferred)
- Health & Safety certifications (e.g. IOSH, NEBOSH) (desirable)
- Full UK Driving Licence
