- Previous Healthcare post graduate clinical experience1
- Post graduate experience as a Band 5 in a broad number of rotational posts
- Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Supervisory and educational experience with junior staff, students and assistants
- Knowledge of the working of community therapy services
- Involvement with audit and research
- Membership of Deparment/Trust groups e.g. Health & Safety, Moving & Handling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to organise, prioritise and delegate
- Good time management skills
- Good analytical and problem solving skills/clinical reasoning
- Presentation skills
- Competent IT skills use of electronic systems
- Understanding of clinical governance and it;s implications for practice
- Well developed contemporary theoretical underpinning knowledge of Occupational Therapy
- Awareness of the political/National situation
- Flexibility to meet service delivery needs over seven day service
- Ability to work to a high standard in a range of situations
