
Teaching Assistant

- Have at least one year of experience providing SEN support in a school, childcare, or care setting
- Be a dedicated, motivated, and talented educator
- Support children with emotional and behavioural difficulties, helping them access the curriculum effectively
- Demonstrate a high level of care, concern, and ambition for our students
- Possess the necessary skills and experience to work with a diverse student population, including those with ASC and SEMH
- Be a positive team player with a great sense of humour
- Be committed to improving achievement and accelerating progress
- Provide support for SEN students and lead activities in both one-on-one and small group settings
- Have experience assessing, evaluating, and reporting on student progress
- Be energetic and patient, with strong classroom management skills
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to process a new application through GSL Education
- Be able to provide two professional school-based references
