- Central Middlesex Hospital: our planned care site, hosting a range of surgical and outpatient services and collocated with an urgent care centre.
- Degree / Diploma in Physiotherapy
- Evidence of CPD maintained in a portfolio showing regular practical and theoretical learning
- Attendance at recent post graduate courses relevant to the clinical rotations
- Member of relevant multi professional interest group
- Band 7 level experience in respiratory, including team management
- Experience of working within acute medicine, surgical and critical care wards
- Experience of working as part of a Physiotherapy team and / or multidisciplinary team.
- Experience of completing training programmes and teaching courses
- Evidence of keeping abreast with professional practice and new research.
- Competent IT skills
- Understanding of clinical governance and its implications for services, including experience of quality issues and audit
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to manage change and contain conflict ensuring resolution with positive outcomes; to build rapport, listen, negotiate and persuade.
- Understanding of managing occupational therapists
- Ability to critically appraise, translate and integrate evidence based research/guidelines into clinical practice where indicated
