We are seeking a Multi-skilled TIG Welder / Fabricator for a hands-on role involving TIG welding and fabrication of stainless-steel materials ranging from 1.0mm to 12mm in thickness. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining high standards of craftsmanship while adhering to safety protocols.Key Responsibilities:
- Perform TIG welding and fabrication on stainless steel, including pipework/purge.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, ensuring understanding of tolerances and fabrication techniques.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, complying with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members in production and on-site environments.
- Uphold quality engineering practices in all tasks.
- City & Guilds qualification in Welding and Fabrication or an apprenticeship in an engineering environment preferred.
- Proven experience with stainless steel welding and fabrication.
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices.
39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with the following schedule:
- Monday: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
- Tuesday: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
- Wednesday & Thursday: 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
- Friday: 7:30 am - 12 noon (unless working overtime)
Available and compensated at 1.5 times the hourly rate for weekdays and Saturday mornings.Benefits Include:
