Teaching Personnel is looking for a dedicated Welsh-medium Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the CF3 area of Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a Year 2 class, delivering engaging lessons entirely through Welsh, and helping pupils develop strong literacy, numeracy, and social skills in a supportive environment.What You’ll Be Doing:
- Planning and delivering the national curriculum through the medium of Welsh
- Creating a positive, inclusive classroom where all pupils can thrive
- Supporting individual learning needs, including ALN pupils, with tailored activities
- Tracking pupil progress and adapting teaching approaches to meet learners’ needs
- Collaborating with staff and parents to support pupils’ wellbeing and development
- Promoting Welsh language, culture, and a love of learning through creative teaching
- Fluent in Welsh (spoken and written – essential)
- A qualified teacher with QTS
- Passionate about primary education and Welsh-medium teaching
- Confident in managing a lively Year 2 class
- Enthusiastic, creative, and adaptable to different learning styles

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
