Job Title: Design ApproverLocation: Preferably Broughton (Hybrid: minimum 60% onsite); Filton possible based on competenciesContract: 12 months (Inside IR35)Pay Rate: up to £50 per hour (Via an umbrella company)Overview:This role sits within a fast-paced engineering team supporting wing component delivery. The team provides design solutions to support manufacturing, improve production efficiency, and ensure product integrity. The Design Approver will lead investigations, approve design changes, and ensure compliance with airworthiness and safety standards.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and approve design solutions for modifications and technical queries.
  • Act as a design signatory, ensuring integrated and compliant design outcomes.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring within the engineering team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver optimised structural designs.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain lessons learned processes.
