Salary: £32,000 - £36,500 Per Annum, Depending on Experience.
Working Hours: Based on 39 Hours Per Week, Overtime Available.About The Company:They are a professional industrial/commercial refrigeration and air conditioning specialist. Their head office is based in Sandbach, Cheshire, with offices in Glasgow, Scotland providing a nationwide service.They strive to consistently deliver high-quality designs and skilled installation to retailers, restaurants, offices, data centres, food production and food distribution companies up and down the country. As industry experts, their workforce specialises in the supply, installation and repair of a variety of industrial/commercial refrigeration equipment including large freezer/fridge stores, water/glycol chillers, varying sized air conditioning systems.They are looking to recruit an experienced Commercial / Industrial Refrigeration Engineer to join their team to cover the Scotland area.Abut The Role:
- Conduct installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems, including walk-in coolers, freezers, display cases, and chillers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, providing effective solutions to ensure optimal system performance.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential problems and prevent costly breakdowns.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of projects and meet clients' service requirements.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain technical issues, proposed solutions, and offer expert advice on equipment maintenance and energy efficiency.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations during all tasks and operations.
- Keep up-to-date records of work performed, including service reports, maintenance logs, and parts inventory.
- Proven experience as a Commercial Refrigeration Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Hold a Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to different client locations as required.
- Proficient knowledge of various commercial refrigeration systems and their components.
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles related to refrigeration equipment.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Outstanding customer service skills and a professional demeanour when interacting with clients.
- Relevant certifications such as City & Guilds 2079 (F-Gas) or equivalent are preferred.
