- Leading all site purchasing activities, ensuring quality, compliance, and cost efficiency.
- Delivering accurate short- and long-term forecasts that align with sales demand, production capacity, and material lead times.
- Owning the weekly production plan, ensuring operational alignment, materials readiness, and optimising schedules to minimise changeovers.
- Maintaining robust material control processes to prevent shortages, avoid excess stock, and reduce write offs.
- Leading capacity planning for each department on site to ensure resources, equipment, and staffing levels are aligned with the production plan and forecasted demand.
- Managing the monthly S&OP process at site level, feeding into the Group S&OP process.
- Monitoring and reporting monthly on KPI performance including Forecast Accuracy, Service Level, Inventory Value and Duration, Obsolescence, and Supplier Performance.
- Identifying supply risks and developing contingency plans to protect service levels and mitigate potential disruptions.
- Working closely with production, quality, sales, finance, and global supply chain teams to ensure alignment of plans, priorities, and objectives.
- Leading, developing, and coaching the UK Supply Chain team to build capability, improve performance, and support succession planning.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives across service, cost, cash flow, and environmental impact.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements for the industry.
- Forming proactive relationships cross functionally, internationally, and externally.
- Previous experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably in FMCG, pharmaceutical, or medical sector.
- Strong understanding of Forecasting, Supply Planning, Procurement, Inventory Management, S&OP, Logistics, and Capacity Planning.
- Proficiency in Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) and ERP systems.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
