- Conduct and provide high-quality audit services using a bespoke risk-based approach.
- Lead audits from planning to completion, including drafting financial statements and management letters.
- Manage a team of up to five staff, supervising and delegating tasks effectively.
- Communicate regularly with audit managers and make recommendations to improve clients' accounting systems and controls.
- Appraise team members following job completion.
- Stay updated with auditing and accounting standards and document CPD.
- Provide technical support to the charity and not-for-profit team and clients.
- Demonstrates a desire to work with not-for-profit organizations.
- Flexible and proactive team player.
- Ability to delegate appropriately and review juniors' work.
- Works well under pressure and adheres to tight deadlines.
- Adaptable and responds positively to change.
- Quick learner with a good understanding of accounting and audit regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent integrity and ethical standards.
- ACA or ACCA part qualified or qualified in the past year.
- If part qualified you should have no more than 2 fails although mitigating circumstances can be considered
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with data analytics tools.
- Experience in running audits from planning through to completion.
