Hours: Nights | 20:30 – 06:00am | Full-timeWe are recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead a busy warehouse team in Stoke-on-Trent running our Night shift from Monday to Friday. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong, process-driven leader who thrives on driving operational excellence in a dynamic environment.Warehouse Operations Manager Role:You will oversee a team of 8 warehouse staff, managing all aspects of warehouse operations including cross-docking, groupage, and pallet network operations. This role is roughly 70% shop floor and 30% desk-based, allowing you to stay close to the team while also managing reporting, processes, and administration.You will be responsible for:
- Leading, motivating, and developing the warehouse team to deliver high performance.
- Implementing and maintaining policies, procedures, and processes to ensure operational efficiency.
- Overseeing daily warehouse operations, including cross-docking, groupage, and pallet network activities.
- Monitoring KPIs and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and operational standards.
- Proven leadership experience within warehouse operations.
- Strong knowledge of cross-docking, groupage, and pallet network operations.
- A process-driven approach with the ability to implement policies and procedures effectively.
- Hands-on, approachable style with the ability to motivate and lead a small team.
- Ability to balance shop floor presence with desk-based administrative responsibilities.
