They are seeking a proactive People Assistant to join our Practice Support Group for a one-year fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Head of People, you’ll play a key role in delivering a high-quality HR service across the firm. This is a varied and hands-on role supporting all areas of the employee lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to compliance and training.Key Responsibilities
- Provide admin support across all HR processes
- Co-ordinate inductions and ensure a positive new starter experience
- Support the recruitment process with any related administration
- Administer and maintain the HR system and support benefits and compliance
- Assist in organising firm-wide training, events, and internal HR initiatives
- Produce letters, contracts, reports, and maintain accurate employee records
- Diary management for the Head of People and team
- Solid admin experience in a fast-paced environment (HR experience preferred)
- Minimum 2 years in an HR or office support role
- CIPD qualification (or working towards) desirable
- Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
- Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and time management
- Comfortable handling sensitive information with discretion
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
