Description:Burntisland Medical Group are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated practice manager to join our small friendly team, for between 4 to 5 days per week, providing a total of 30 to 37.5 hours.We are a 4 partner practice with excellent ANP and practice nurse support for minor illness and chronic disease clinics. We are also supported by CTAC nurses and phlebotomists and a full primary healthcare team including district nurses, health visitors, pharmacists, care home ANPs and a mental health nurse practitioner. Many of the above are based on site in our health board owned premises.Our practice benefits from a small town, semi-rural setting, with a list size of approximately 5500. We are involved in postgraduate medical training, with an FY2 doctor rotating through every 4 months. We have a very experienced administrative team, and we use EMIS, Docman, and MJog.We would ideally be looking for someone who has previous experience in primary care management, although we would be supportive of further training requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day running of the practice, including business and accounting management, and will be in a leadership role. We are looking for someone who can help facilitate change and innovation as the practice evolves in the future.Salary will be negotiable depending on previous experience and qualifications, and will include enrolment in the NHS Pension Scheme.
