The Manager, CED Settlements will join the team on a part-time basis (22 ½ hours per week). You'll be based in our stunning city centre office in Leeds or our central London office, so you'll need to be within a commutable distance of one of these sites to enable you to be in the office with your colleagues each week.
The role holder will have responsibility for managing staff and the regulated services provided by the CED Settlements Team, ensuring all relevant FCA regulations are complied with at all times.

As with any role, we want to find the right person and we want to make sure you know it's the right role for you too. You will need:
- Demonstrable people management experience within a financial services setting
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong technical and regulatory awareness and understanding
- Excellent team leadership skills, with an ability to focus on the personal and professional development of team members
- An ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and colleagues
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders and colleagues at all levels
- Be the first point of escalation for any issues identified by members of the team
- Oversee various projects to ensure efficient and accurate delivery
- Drive change and process efficiency
- Provide day-to-day management of the CED Settlements team, including regular one-to-ones with all team members, offering an open communication forum and being a role model to all members of staff
- Provide regular updates to the Head of Operations, Corporate Employee Dealing, covering people, performance, risk and stakeholder updates
- Provide and offer guidance and feedback to the Settlements team, mentoring them to ensure all regulated and non-regulated tasks are completed within the relevant timescales
- Regularly attend the CASS Steering committee meetings and take responsibility for actions within the team
- Ensure all GRC actions are completed in an exemplary manner and within the required timescales
