We have an exciting opportunity to join our Belfast Business Development (BD) and Marketing team. We are seeking a proactive and dynamic individual with a flair for effective communication, events planning and business development activity. At A&L Goodbody, the BD and marketing department is integral to our business and provides seamless delivery of marketing services internally and to our clients. You will be joining a collaborative team, that values development and encourages continuous growth.As a BD & Marketing Assistant your role will involve the following:
  • Event assistance: Support in planning and hosting business development events. Flexibility required to occasionally work outside normal working hours to facilitate events.
  • Pitches and Tenders:
Supporting the preparation and submission of pitches and tenders, including identifying opportunities, drafting content, coordinating materials and maintaining up-to-date internal records. * Legal directories: Assist in all elements of legal directories engagement including creating documents, liaising with lawyers for input, arranging interviews, and post-submission actions.
  • Client relationship management: Assist in the implementation and upkeep of the firm's CRM system.
  • Marketing communications: Assist in the production and maintenance of all marketing communications and materials.
  • Internal communications: Assist with the preparation and delivery of internal communications and newsletters.
  • Business development support: Business research, analysis and reporting to facilitate development of Belfast office corporate client base.
  • General administration: Assisting with all required ad-hoc administrative and project requirements.

  • Qualifications or degree in marketing or business-related degree preferable
  • Previous BD or Marketing experience in a professional services environment, desirable but not essential
