Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading North Wales manufacturer, in their search for an Engineering Supervisor to work at their site in Wrexham.For the successful Engineering Supervisor, our client is offering:
  • Salary of £56,000 p/a
  • Hours of work: 4 on 4 off 05:45am to 18:00pm & 17:45pm to 06:00am, however, flexibility will be required to the needs of the business.

The Role – Engineering Supervisor:
  • Lead and develop a team of shift engineers through performance management, mentoring, and appraisals
  • Deliver proactive, planned preventative maintenance to ensure equipment meets capacity and efficiency targets
  • Provide hands-on support with reactive maintenance when required, minimising machine downtime
  • Ensure a safe environment for all staff and visitors to the manufacturing facility
  • Drive continuous improvement and implement energy optimisation initiatives
  • Manage contractors on-site and ensure effective project delivery
  • Support the introduction and commissioning of new equipment as part of innovation and expansion plans
  • Oversee team workload and capacity planning to ensure optimal resource allocation
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across departments and communicate effectively to manage expectations
  • Maintain audit readiness in partnership with the Technical and QA teams
  • Commit to ongoing professional development and support a high-performance team culture
What our client is looking for in an Engineering Supervisor:
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar engineering leadership role – ESSENTIAL
  • Time-served, multi-skilled engineer with hands-on technical ability – ESSENTIAL
  • Strong problem-solving ability with a proactive and solution-focused approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in lean manufacturing principles – DESIRABLE
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing –
