Connecting and protecting people in defence, aerospace, communications and space.OPPORTUNITYDue to growth we’re now looking for a new team member to join our friendly Purchasing team in the role of PURCHASING ASSISTANT. Working alongside our other Purchasing Assistant and the Purchasing Manager,you’ll help ensure all required products and services are sourced, brought and delivered on time, to the right spec and quality, enabling us to build our products to the required specifications, meeting and exceedingour customer’s needs.As full training will be given, this role would suit someone starting out and looking for their first position where they can learn, contribute and make a difference. Based within the factory, every day will be busy and different, and your responsibilities will involve working on our ERP system to place orders, online ordering and keeping our internal customers up to date with progress.To be successful, you’ll have or be working towards the following:
- A passion for producing accurate, timely work, meeting required goals.
- Have excellent personal organisation and time management skills
- Confidence to use Microsoft office – Word, Excel, email and data bases.
- Be friendly and confident using the phone, in-person or writing with other people, developing and maintaining positive working relationships.
