- Producing detailed documentation for orders before submission.
- Ensuring all aspects of orders and invoices are correct including Purchase Order Management using Sage.
- Working closely with Sales, Design, and Manufacturing teams to ensure projects/orders are delivered on time and within budget.
- Preparing quotes and tender documents in conjunction with the sales team.
- Liaising extensively with suppliers to ensure the right parts/products are orders.
- Responding to technical queries and ensuring the correct parts/products are ordered.
- Offering advice and support technically on the companies products and services.
- Ensuring the ERP systems is up to date with all information from tender to delivery.+
- Manage the Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Manage delivery and post sales activities, monitoring import and export considerations when required.
- Role could grow to additional involvement support the design team in CAD system management and some aspects of design.
- Possibly a degree or HND/HNC in Engineering, Mechanical, Process, or similar discipline. However this is not essential if you can demonstrate good Engineering knowledge built by experience.
- Experience in technical or engineering roles within the delivery of products/parts or systems going into the industrial or process industry based environments would be an advantage. Again, attitude, willingness to learn, enthusiasm and a good engineering foundation are just as important.
