About the roleAn opportunity has arisen for an Examinations & Assessment Manager. You will report to the Head of Examinations & Assessment, and work alongside seven other Examinations & Assessment Managers, to organise the examinations within the Business School.You will possess excellent organisational skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The ability to work well under pressure is a must-have, as well as a proven track record of achieving set targets and deadlines. Excellent customer service skills are essential.We are looking for applicants with excellent MS Office skills, particularly in Excel and Word. Relevant professional experience in Higher Education would be advantageous.What you would be doing
  • Managing the digital/online and on campus exam processes, timetables and marking procedures
  • Having responsibility for data collection and ensuring that records are accurate and up-to-date
  • Organising Examination Boards for each programme
  • Acting as the main point of contact for External Examiners
  • Working with a variety of examination delivery methods (online, digital and paper-based) and marking systems
What we are looking for
  • Educated to degree level or holding equivalent professional qualifications
  • Proven excellent Excel Skills
  • Experience of working in a Higher Education environment
  • Ability to work independently and to juggle a busy and varied workload
