- Working with the Lead Creative, be responsible for the design delivery of our campaign executions and assets across all Sports Direct channels aligning with the overall brand vision and business objectives.
- Foster strong relationships and collaborate with internal teams (Art Direction, Marketing, Production, Paid, Organic, e-commerce, Retail, PR etc) and external creative partners to deliver high-impact campaign executions.
- Deliver a high-quality design output for various platforms within our ecosystem including social media, email, web, instore POS and promotional materials etc
- Be responsible for proactive and reactive social, paid and editorial design requirements
- Provide key creative input on photoshoots plus video and social production
- Provide design direction and feedback to supporting graphic, motion and production designers
- Act as a creative guardian alongside the creative lead, ensuring brand and design consistency across all channels, including digital, retail, partnerships, and experiential activations (fully integrated)
- Stay ahead of market trends, design innovations, competitor activities and new technologies (e.g. AI, effective platform-first creative etc.) within the Sports sector
- Mentorship of junior creative team members
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meet deadlines and maintain attention to detail
- Proven experience in a senior or midweight design role within a sports retail/marketing/advertising environment.
- Proficient in creative tools and presentation tools (e.g. Keynote)
- Solid understanding of typography, layout, colour theory and visual storytelling
- Knowledge of motion graphics and video editing is a plus
- Strong design development and presenting skills
