Our client, a high-growth fintech, is looking to hire a structured finance lawyer to join their established legal team in a unique role sitting with the business.The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the legal aspects of a wide variety transactions in relation to fund activity, including securitisations, fund structuring and structured finance transactions. You will work closely with the business and be a 'go to' lawyer advising on this organisation's funding solutions that support the company's growing presence in the UK and internationally.This is an excellent opportunity for a commercial minded lawyer with securitisation/structured finance experience to move in-house into a fast-paced and collaborative fintech environment in a role which truly offers commercial exposure. You will be working on complex financing arrangements and help shape the legal infrastructure of this part of the business at an exciting stage of growth.Skills required
  • Qualified lawyer 2+ years' PQE gained in a leading firm or in-house legal team.
  • Strong experience in securitisation is essential for the role. Structured finance and derivatives exposure is advantageous.
  • Commercial and pragmatic approach to advising on complex transactions.
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks affecting capital markets transactions.
  • Experience working on fund structures or hedging is desirable, but not essential.
