
Procurement Manager 6 Month Fixed-Term Contract

- Leading tender processes and contract negotiations with key suppliers to ensure best value and risk mitigation.
- Develop and embed a process for ongoing monitoring of supplier performance and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Develop a Supplier Code of Conduct.
- Review existing procurement and purchasing processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Design and embed a streamlined, efficient, and compliant procurement process across the business.
- Develop and document procurement policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and IT teams to support the implementation of a system to manage supplier contracts.
- Assist in data migration, user training and ensure any new system supports procurement governance and contract visibility.
- Develop reporting to track and analyse key procurement metrics, such as spend analysis, price increases and cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and reports.
- Support budget holders with procurement planning and supplier selection.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive value for money.
- Proven experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably within a software or technology business.
- Strong understanding of procurement best practices, contract law, tendering processes and supplier management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet and data analytics is preferred.

- Salary of circa £70,000 per annum depending on skills and experience.
