ABC Teachers have been approached by a Nursery in North Leicestershire who are urgently in need for qualified nursery practitioner.Are you a passionate and experienced childcare professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are currently seeking a Full-Time Deputy Nursery Manager to join our friendly and dedicated team at our thriving nursery in Coalville.About the Role:
As Deputy Nursery Manager, you'll play a key leadership role in the daily running of the nursery. You’ll support the Nursery Manager in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to thrive, while helping to guide and support our fantastic team of practitioners.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day operations of the nursery.
  • Ensure the highest standards of care and education are maintained.
  • Support, mentor and supervise staff to deliver outstanding childcare.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and carers.
  • Ensure all safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory requirements are met.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent) – essential.
  • Previous experience in a senior role within a nursery setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • A genuine passion for early years education and child development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Have or willing to obtain a valid DBS check.
  • Able to provide to references to cover the last 2 years of both Education and Employment
  • Have the right to work in the UK (ABC teachers do not offer sponsorship).
