Rate: Competitive — details to be discussed upon applicationWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialty Doctor in Adult Psychiatry to join our NHS client in Romford, Essex. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the care of adults with complex mental health needs within a supportive and multidisciplinary team.Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality psychiatric care within inpatient and/or community mental health settings.
- Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and contribute to the development of individualised treatment plans.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and continuity of care.
- Support senior clinicians in managing complex cases and care coordination.
- Ensure compliance with the Mental Health Act (MHA) and other relevant legislation and clinical standards.
- Full GMC licence to practise
- Experience in General Adult Psychiatry, ideally in both inpatient and community settings
- Previous experience in a similar role within the NHS or equivalent
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
