
Finance & Clerical Support Officer for CHC / NHS FNC

- To validate and process invoices for payment, identify queries and contact Providers and/or Care Coordinators to resolve.
- To provide quality administrative and secretarial support to the Nursing Team making full use of available technology.
- Administer Panel Meetings using Excel
- Input accurate data into database
- Draft standard letters and distribute accordingly
- Manage generic Email Inboxes
- Administer Retrospective Review Process
- Learn office procedures for Invoices, Unit Panel, NHS FNC New Admissions, Assessments, Contracts etc.

- NVQ Level 3 or possess equivalent skills, knowledge and experience
- Fully conversant with all Microsoft Office software
- Knowledge of administrative and office procedures and systems
- Knowledge of validating, processing invoices for payment and identifying errors
- Knowledge of processing invoices for payment and dealing with invoice queries
- Knowledge and understanding of working with guidelines, policies and procedures
- Knowledge and understanding of Continuing Health Care and NHS Funded Nursing Care
- Knowledge of office practices and able to establish new processes
- Excellent communication and customer care skills and a good telephone manner
