Job Title/Req Number: Azure Solutions Architect / 107516Base Location: Manchester plus network of 20 offices nationally:The KPMG Advisory Technology function is a cornerstone of our Advisory business. We've proudly stood beside the institutions and businesses which make the UK what it is.Within the Advisory Technology function we are a team full of subject matter experts, but that's not all. We are responsible for providing a portfolio of technology transformation projects for the Advisory business. The Advisory Tech portfolio comprises 64 projects across various pipeline stages, most of which relate to the KPMG Insight Platform, KIP. KIP (Advisory's cloud-based engagement platform used for engagement data storage, security confirmations, user management, team and client data sharing, and analytics on client engagement data) is live across Deals capabilities and is being rolled out across the remaining Advisory Capabilities. It is managed by the Advisory Tech team with new features and functionality released quarterly.Why Join KPMG as an Azure Solutions Architect:This role will play a leading role in the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions in KPMG Insight Platform, KIP.What will you be doing ?This role involves working closely with the Advisory Technical Director, defining technical architecture, and guiding development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities include supporting the Technical Director in creating architectural blueprints, ensuring compliance with best practices, and supporting project delivery.What will you need to do it?
  • Demonstrable experience in the Solutions Design of complex highly automated, secure platforms on the Microsoft Azure stack.
  • An in depth understanding of Azure Services, such as Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, Azure Data Factory, Purview, Fabric, Power Platform and / or Sharepoint on Line
  • Good experience in the HLD/LLD of IAAS platforms
  • Good understanding of Azure Cloud Engineering, DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines and IAC
  • A good knowledge of Microsoft Entra IDSkills we'd love to see/Amazing Extras:
  • Experience in the HLD / LLD of Azure AI Solutions, Large Language Models (LLM), Copilot or OpenAI
  • Solutions / Technical Design experience gained from within Financial Services or another major Professional Services organisation
