- Supporting our members ensuring that their treatment pathway is evidence based, in line with best practice and their Bupa policy.
- Identify and support our most complex cases through liaison with both members and Bupa recognised providers.
- Proactively guide customers and provide knowledgeable and efficient front-line service, including signposting our members to eligible services through their policy.
- Respond professionally to telephone calls and other forms of communication from internal and external contacts, within designated time scales.
- Be empowered to use your initiative to resolve queries using escalation processes as required.
- Proactively support colleagues through sharing information and knowledge.
- Use a range of systems available to you and ensure information is appropriately documented
- Contribute to the good governance of the Clinical Services including accessing supervision and training.
- Use high quality communication skills adapted to meet the needs of each interaction with members, providers, and other key stakeholders.
- A Registered Nurse (NMC) with a minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience
- Sound clinical reasoning skills, able to work independently, think analytically and use a problem-solving approach
- Ability to work independently within scope of practice and role requirements
- Professional role model in line with NMC code of practice
- Ability to deal calmly and professionally in manging complex and challenging conversations
- Resilience with an ability to work under pressure, at pace and manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills, including both telephone and Letter/Email writing skills, and the ability to deal effectively with internal and external customers of all levels.
