- Lead the pastry section, ensuring all desserts are prepared and presented to the highest standards.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stock rotation, and quality control of ingredients.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.
- Monitor dish quality throughout preparation and plating, upholding consistency and excellence.
- Train and mentor junior team members to support skill development and maintain kitchen standards.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to create innovative dessert concepts and seasonal menu offerings.
- Promote sustainability by minimising waste and optimising efficiency.
- Maintain pastry equipment in good working condition and conduct regular stock checks.
