A warm and welcoming family in Weybridge is seeking a professional and proactive daily housekeeper to help maintain their beautiful period home. This is a permanent, part-time position, offering approximately three half-days per week with flexible scheduling. - General housekeeping across the entire property (approx. 4,200 sqft)
- Vacuuming and mopping floors
- Dusting and managing cobwebs
- Deep cleaning bathrooms and kitchen, including fridge and oven as needed
- Washing windows where accessible
- Laundry duties, including washing bed linen and changing sheets
- Light meal preparation or dinner prep once per week
- Occasional errand running (e.g. post office drop-off, picking up bread)
- Liaising with the gardening and property team when needed
- Maintaining a tidy, welcoming environment across all areas of the home
- Proven experience in a similar private household role
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Positive, grounded, and honest demeanour
- Confident managing occasional feedback and communicating personal boundaries with respect
- Fluent in English; French is a bonus
- A driver is preferred, but not essential
- Comfortable working around a family with school-aged children and pets (small dog and cat)
- Right to work in the UK
