Leadership is supported at every level, with strong structures in place for quality assurance, compliance, and reflective supervision.The organisation continues to expand, offering opportunities for career progression and a chance to be part of a values-led, collaborative and outcome-focused team making a real difference in children’s lives.The Role:As Regional Manager, you’ll oversee a group of children’s homes across West Sussex and Hampshire. You’ll work closely with Registered Managers, Directors, and stakeholders to ensure homes deliver safe, therapeutic care and achieve compliance with Ofsted and internal standards.While the role is home-based, regular travel across the region is essential to support your teams, respond to operational needs, and maintain strong relationships.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support multiple children’s homes (EBD/LD)
  • Line manage Registered Managers and guide service improvement
  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted standards and internal frameworks
  • Manage budgets, financial performance, and occupancy
  • Drive strategic planning, business development, and growth
  • Promote a culture of safeguarding, inclusion, and trauma-informed care
  • Build strong partnerships with local authorities and commissioners
  • Report on service quality and performance to the senior leadership team
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager or higher in children’s residential care
  • Multi-site leadership or significant experience overseeing multiple teams
  • Strong understanding of compliance, safeguarding and Ofsted frameworks
  • Commercial awareness and budget management experience
  • Confident, supportive leader with excellent people skills
  • Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on support
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the region
