This role does not offer sponsorship!The HR Engagement Officer will work closely with the management and staff to help to build positive relationships with between staff and management and all staff and the company.
  • Liaise closely with the wider People Team to ensure the Employee Handbook is relevant and up to date.
  • Responsible for driving staff engagement and team building initiatives.
  • Promoting and embedding the GBS culture and values in all GBS
  • Help develop and implement the company’s diversity initiatives and strategies to attract, hire, and maintain a diverse workplace.
  • Assist HR Operations with a comprehensive onboarding program including communication, processes, job tools, and training.
  • Provide the administrative support for the staff survey and follow up surveys that are required.
  • Manage the development and utilisation of pulse surveys.
  • Ensure that the communication platform is continuously developed and kept relative and informed with all information and changes.
  • Manage the Reward and Recognition programme.
  • Manage the annual service awards.
  • Manage the annual company awards.
  • Manage the company's social network programme.
  • Support other parts of the People Team when required.
  • Help in the administration and collecting of data from surveys, campus staff workshops.
  • Support and maintain the staff wellbeing programme.
  • Further or Higher education qualification
  • Level 5 CIPD or relevant experience
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in HR
  • Confidentiality and discretion essential
  • High level of interpersonal & communication skills
  • High level of planning, prioritisation, and organisation skills essential
  • High-quality written and verbal communication
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Pro-active observation and monitoring skills with the ability to take action.
  • Interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with a wide variety of people.
  • IT and database literacy with the ability to quickly pick up new systems.
  • Comfortable with working across the whole team and with people from a diverse group
  • Excellent attention to detail
