Business Change Manager (Lead)
About the RoleThis is your opportunity to help deliver a major ERP-based transformation programme for a unique UK organisation.NPL works at the forefront of science and engineering. The delivery of a new ERP programme is central to our goals for organisational change.You will join the programme delivery team - taking responsibility for developing refined processes and enhanced systems that ensure NPL realises the full benefits of the original business case.
This will involve contributing to the development of workstream plans and involving yourself across all project stages of the project lifecycle.
There will be close collaboration with other BCMs to understand the cross-functional dependencies of business processes and system requirements.
You will also manage relationships with Stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts within and outside the programme.

This is a pivotal leadership role where you'll build and develop BCM capability across NPL, working alongside outcome-focused colleagues who believe that people are at the heart of sustainable change.
You'll play a key role in the evolution of how change is delivered at NPL - ensuring it's strategic, people-centred, and built to last.
You'll be part of the Project Management and Transformation delivery team, helping shape our approach to managing and landing successful, sustainable change and business adoption that maximises the benefits of our programmes. You'll work across the project lifecycle, collaborating with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and fellow BCMs to understand cross-functional dependencies, drive adoption, and grow NPL's capability of business change management.You'll apply and adapt change management frameworks to suit NPL's context, using tools and techniques that support behavioural, cultural, and digital transformation. Proven experience with change management frameworks (e.g. Prosci, ADKAR, Kotter) and the ability to tailor them to context.
