  • Ensuring all passengers embark and disembark safely
  • Assisting driver in operation of any safety/adaptive equipment whilst ensuring all passengers who use safety and adaptive equipment are seated and secured in appropriate seats in accordance with manufactures instructions
  • Informing the relevant parties of any changes to route and child absences
  • Ensuring daily registers and all relevant paper work are on board completed and handed to driver at the end of the working day
About youTo be a Passenger Assistant for AfC, you will be passionate about making a positive difference the lives of children and young people as well as demonstrating the following points:
  • Demonstrate a flexible approach in this role to ensure the needs and safety of the passengers being transported are being met at all times
  • Have a good knowledge and a good understanding of H&S and the Code of Conduct
  • To be contactable at all times whilst you are on duty
