Your skills could be the perfect fit for a role in education!Teaching Personnel are recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants to support children with complex needs across a range of primary and specialist schools in Stoke-on-Trent and nearby areas.This role is ideal for those with backgrounds in care, support work, or health & social care, looking to transfer their skills into a school setting.The role will involve:Providing one-to-one or small group support for children with complex needsSupporting with personal care and medical needs where requiredAssisting pupils with physical needs, including moving and handlingEncouraging communication, independence, and social interactionWorking alongside teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to provide consistent care and learning supportWe’re looking for individuals who:Have experience in care, support work, or education (transferrable skills highly valued)Are compassionate, patient, and resilientAre confident supporting children with additional or complex needsAre open to providing personal care support when requiredCan commit to flexible, day-to-day, or long-term rolesApply TodayAll applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
