- Operate and monitor machinery, ensuring optimal performance and quality output.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning and lubrication.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools for assembly and disassembly of components.
- Interpret technical drawings and CAD models using SolidWorks for precise machining tasks.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues related to machine operation or tooling.
- Handle materials efficiently within the warehouse environment, ensuring proper storage and inventory management.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with tooling techniques, welding processes, and materials handling practices.
- Proficient in using CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, for interpreting designs.
- Experience operating milling machines and other industrial equipment is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to understand logic controllers and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
