Machine Operative, Newark-On-Trent

• Always follow health and safety rules, including wearing the correct PPE
• Follow instructions, product specifications, and documents related to the moulding process
• Open moulds, remove finished products, set up new moulds, and close them correctly
• Use jigs to handle and trim products to the required standard
• Operate ovens used in the moulding process
• Find and use the necessary raw materials for moulding
• Maintain high-quality standards for products and equipment during moulding, finishing, and storage
• Keep your work area and the factory clean, tidy, and safe
• Complete paperwork needed during the moulding process
• Communicate important information with managers, team leaders, and co-workers
• Train or support other staff in moulding processes if needed
• Assist other team members during downtime to keep work flowing

• Temp to perm role
• Once permanent, you qualify for 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing by 1 day after 2, 4, and 6 years of service (maximum 28 days plus bank holidays). Days are deducted annually for full business closure at Christmas
• Progression opportunities with chances to be upskilled in multiple departments

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of hand and power tools

• Monday to Friday - Days, Nights, and Afters rotation
• Salary: £26,130
