We are seeking a committed and empathetic 1:1 Outreach Tutor to work with students in the Cullompton area who are currently outside of mainstream education.About the Role:This is a rewarding opportunity to provide personalised, one-to-one tuition to learners in their homes or community settings. You will help students re-engage with education, build confidence, and achieve their academic goals.Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored lessons in core subjects (e.g., English, Maths, Science)
- Support students with SEND, SEMH, or those at risk of exclusion
- Create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
- Liaise with schools, parents/carers, and local authorities
- Track and report on student progress
- Teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS) or relevant tutoring experience
- Experience working with vulnerable or disengaged learners
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to individual student needs
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
