We have multiple roles available with immediate starts.Your Role as a Warehouse Operative:As a key member of the site’s warehouse and logistics team, you’ll play a vital role in the safe, efficient movement and storage of goods, supporting production and supply chain activities in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.Your responsibilities will include:
- Receiving, storing, and dispatching goods accurately and efficiently
- Ensuring stock is correctly labelled, tracked, and rotated (FIFO)
- Loading/unloading vehicles and transferring stock to designated areas
- Working collaboratively with production and supply chain teams
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures throughout all warehouse activities
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation across the warehouse
- Reporting damaged goods or stock discrepancies to team leaders
- Operating equipment such as pallet trucks or forklifts (if trained)
- Enthusiastic and reliable team players
- Ability to carry out manual handling tasks and work at pace
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail and basic numeracy
- Commitment to health & safety and food hygiene practices
- Previous warehouse or food manufacturing experience (desirable)
- Forklift licence (an advantage but not essential)
