- Truck Loading: Ensuring accuracy and efficiency of outgoing jobs. Confirm all equipment matches job requirements.
- Load Sheet Accuracy: Validate load sheets against physical inventory being loaded. Ensure discrepancies are identified, documented, and escalated.
- Sub-Hire Management: Coordinate documentation and physical handling of sub-hire equipment. Ensure accurate records for all incoming and outgoing sub-hires and verify prompt returns.
- Team Supervision: Provide direction and oversight to the wider Warehouse Team across the Warehouse operation during shift activities. Maintain a productive and safe working environment through clear communication and leadership.
- Health & Safety: Ensure all loading and warehouse operations are conducted in compliance with health and safety protocols. Promote a culture of safety awareness and correct use PPE and manual handling.
- Cover for Warehouse Manager: Act as the lead point of contact in the Warehouse Manager's absence, including liaising with other departments, managing shift coverage, and reporting key updates to the Head of Operational Delivery.
- Asset & Equipment Handling: Ensure safe use and handling of rental assets and warehouse tools. Report faults or maintenance needs promptly.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the wider Warehouse, Project Management, Technical, Rental, and Transport teams to ensure seamless equipment preparation and dispatch.
- Quality and Environmental Standards: Ensure relevant procedures and process in line with ISO standards for Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety and Sustainability management systems.
- Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably in a supervisory or team-lead capacity.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Ability to take initiative and lead small teams.
- Confident operating warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks and forklifts (training can be provided if required).
- A proactive, self-motivated attitude with the ability to use initiative and problem-solve.
- Understanding of warehouse safety standards and commitment to upholding company policies related to quality, health and safety, and environmental standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Valid forklift or reach truck licence
- First Aid or Fire Marshal training
- Experience in AV, live events, or technical equipment environments
