- Developing and reviewing electrical system designs, ensuring they meet project requirements and industry standards.
- Conducting feasibility studies and technical assessments to identify optimal solutions for electrical systems.
- Preparing detailed specifications, calculations, and technical reports.
- Providing technical guidance and support during the construction, installation, and commissioning phases of projects.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to provide innovative solutions.
- Assist in the design, optioneering, evaluation, and assessment of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including Mechanical, Process, and Civil/Structural engineers, to support project delivery.
- Provide technical support and contribute to the resolution of project challenges.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to the development of project plans and schedules.
- Support the preparation of technical documentation, including reports, specifications, and drawings.
- Engage in continuous professional development to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
- Bachelor’s degree level qualification in electrical/electronic engineering, mechatronics, building services, or engineering mathematics, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in electrical engineering, preferably within the nuclear or energy sector.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to present technical information clearly.
- Eager to learn and develop professionally, with a proactive approach to work.
- Working towards Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) status is desirable.
