- To assess student competence in a range of practical sheep and cattle skills to Level 2 students. Skills to include weighing, dosing, injecting and tagging stock and selecting animals for slaughter.
- To complete all appropriate documentation relating to each instruction and assessment session as required.
- To record/evaluate learner performance and provide feedback.
- To undertake required training as prescribed by Course Awarding Bodies, funding agencies, DAERA, CAFRE
- To undertake all other duties as assigned by line manager
- The applicant must possess a Level 3 in Agriculture or related discipline
- To deliver on these courses staff must be technically knowledgeable in the areas above.
- Previous experience of delivery and assessment of student learning is also beneficial.
