This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified teachers who want to deliver engaging lessons and foster practical skills in students.As a Design Technology (DT) Teacher, you will inspire and equip students with practical skills and creative thinking necessary for design and technology subjects.Responsibilities as a Design Technology Teacher:
  • Plan and deliver stimulating Design Technology lessons across Key Stages.
  • Encourage creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills development.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of work and share best practices.
Requirements for Design Technology Teacher:
  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
  • Recent experience teaching Design Technology in UK schools is preferred.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A valid enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
  • A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
