  • Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development
  • Assisting the classroom teacher in implementing individual education plans
  • Providing one-to-one support to students with SEN
  • Helping students with personal care needs, if required
  • Assisting in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Required Qualifications:
  • Level 2 or above qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
  • Experience working with children with SEN
  • Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies
Education:Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and MathsExperience:Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar roleKnowledge and Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Patience and understanding when working with students with SEN
Preferred Qualifications:
  • First Aid certification
  • Training in specific SEN areas such as Autism or Dyslexia
Working Conditions:
  • Working hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
  • Working in a school setting alongside teachers and other support staff
