About The Supply and Demand TeamBased within the Commercial division of the business, The Supply and Demand Team is responsible for the planning and realisation of all inbound and outbound goods and materials in the business, forecasting and demand planning the customer requirements, the planning and management of the production plan in the factories and the reporting of the and reporting of all the forementioned elements.Supply PlannerReporting to the Supply Manager, the Supply Planner is a key part of the Supply Chain. The Supply Planner will have responsibility for the creation, maintenance, planning and the final despatch of goods in line with customer purchase orders ensuring goods are deliver on time in full, reviewing end to end supply of goods ensuring revenue targets are met along with customer expectation management and solid communication.
  • Customer Service Management
  • Managing Customer queries & Customer communication ensuring detailed replies within a timely manner - target 48 hrs.
  • Identifying and managing customer “critical stock items”, working to achieve a positive stock situation by liaising with Purchasing, Planning & Demand teams where required to co-ordinate and achieve customer requirements.
  • Weekly update meetings - providing minutes of the meeting, ensuring actions are carried our as required by the customer.
  • Processing customer purchase orders and converting to sales orders.
  • Despatch planning to ensure the customer is receiving stock on time and in full.
  • Highlighting where issues with availability arise, looking to find solutions to problems to achieve a positive stock situation for the customer within required lead-times.
  • Supporting and Reviewing data with the Supply Manager to prepare OTIF reporting to the business.
  • Ensuring clear customer & internal communication around key projects.
  • Updating weekly project trackers / forecast confirmations & issuing these out to the customer, liaising with relevant departments to keep the agreed SIW date.
  • Managing and processing customer additional monthly costs and ensuring items managed and invoiced in a timely manner.
  • Attending internal daily calls with production & warehousing to highlight any impact to current SIW and ensuring deliveries happen as planned.
  • Dealing with invoice queries from the customer, making sure these reconcile 3 ways.
  • Supply Chain KPI's
  • Helping the team to achieve monthly reporting of Third Party KPIs and reporting this to the rest of the business accurately by performing KPI presentations to management and other key departments.
  • Communicating effectively and positively with all teams, colleagues, and managers.
  • Take reasonable care for the health and safety for yourself and other persons who may be affected by your work.
  • To cooperate with regards to all company health & safety measures, following H&S training when using equipment
  • Report to a person in authority any work situation which may represent a serious or imminent danger to health & safety or any shortcomings in the protection arrangements to health & safety. In respect of any hazards remember 'see it, report it'.
  • Helping to promote a positive working atmosphere within the company.
  • Any other duties that may be required from time to time.
Role Requirements

  • Previous experience in Supply Chain desirable but not essential.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of Sage business system (desirable but not essential).
