About the RoleThis role reports directly to the Business Intelligence Manager and plays a pivotal role in shaping and delivering data-driven reporting solutions that inform strategic decision-making across the organisation.Key responsibilities of the Information Analyst includes:
  • Support the monthly production of the County Assurance Pack and the redesign of Area Board Reports, ensuring seamless data automation and timely delivery
  • Own and maintain the Data and Insights Catalogue and SharePoint site, ensuring content is accurate, accessible, and up to date
  • Act as a key partner to the Director for Living and Ageing Well (East), driving performance improvement by enabling teams with tailored reporting, Tableau access, and targeted training aligned to the performance management cycle
  • Design and deliver engaging training materials using Articulate, supporting data literacy and confidence across teams
  • Coordinate the timely and accurate submission of the quarterly Client Level Dataset, ensuring compliance and data integrity
  • Champion cross-functional collaboration, working closely with teams across AWHP and SCC, and serving as the primary liaison with the corporate IT&D team for Tableau and other data platforms
About the TeamThe Business Intelligence (BI) Team is a dynamic and forward-thinking group that delivers flexible, high-impact services across the Directorate. The BI Team is part of AWHP's Systems, Analytics and Service Improvement Service. We play a central role in delivering the Adult Social Care (ASC) Statutory Framework and maintain strong partnerships with national bodies including the Department of Health, Skills for Care, and ADASS. We support AWHP operational teams by providing high-quality data, insightful analysis, and strategic intelligence that informs improvement initiatives and service delivery.As leaders in data visualisation within ASC, we're driving the development of innovative dashboards and reporting tools. We champion digital excellence and promote strong IT capabilities across the organisation.Shortlisting CriteriaWe're seeking a proactive and analytical individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about using data to drive change.   • The ability to manage a range of projects through to completion
  • A track record of analysing data, identifying feedback themes and creating meaningful reports
  • Strong written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills, which includes negotiation and influencing, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners
  • The ability to work on own initiative, both independently and as part of a team, under pressure and with effective time management to prioritise and manage own workload
Experience in adult social care is a bonus, but not essential.
