Housing Support WorkerVenn Group have been approached by a Charity and would like to introduce the following position available:Job Ref: J89004Position: Housing Support WorkerLocation: LeedsRate: Negotiable (depending on experience)Length: 2 months (possibility for extension)Hours: Full Time or Part Time hours availableWork Pattern: On SiteKey Responsibilities include:
  • Provide emotional and practical support to clients with complex needs including mental health issues and substance misuse
  • Provide person-centred housing-related support to vulnerable individuals in their own homes or temporary accommodation across various locations.
  • Develop and implement individual support plans to help clients maintain tenancies, access benefits, and improve life skills.
  • Maintain accurate records, complete risk assessments, and ensure compliance with safeguarding and health & safety policies.
  • Travel independently across designated areas, managing a flexible caseload to meet the diverse needs of service users.
  • Signpost and refer clients to relevant services such as mental health support, substance misuse services, training, or employment opportunities.
Essential Criteria:
  • Enhanced Adult DBS on update service
  • Experience working in similar role
