Are you an experienced Teacher of Science?Are you looking for a role after the Easter break?Academics are currently working in close partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' Academy in Stoke-on-Trent who are requiring an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of Science.This particular academy is known for its well-designed curriculum; providing many creative opportunities for all of its students. It also offers an excellent CPD provision for all of the school's in-house teaching staff.The Role
  • Start date is Monday 8th April 2024.
  • Full Time.
  • Work is guaranteed until Friday 24th May 2024.
Role Requirements
  • Hold the relevant Science qualification (PGCE, B. Ed or BA Hons) with UK Qualified Teaching Status (QTS/QTLS)
  • Good knowledge of General Science including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics (Key Stage 3 & 4).
  • Be a confident communicator, an excellent motivator, and can build good rapport with students and fellow staff.
  • Deliver exciting and engaging science lessons using your own initiative and you must have good knowledge of the current national curriculum.
  • Have strong behaviour management skills.
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service or be prepared to apply for a new DBS with ourselves (cost applied).
