You’ll be responsible for designing consistent, effortless, digital experiences. We’re looking for someone who demonstrates creative and analytical thinking and delivers effective UX/UI solutions. You’ll have an eye for visual interaction design, coupled with excellent communication skills to champion UX thinking with product owners and developers. You'll also have the ability to lead UX projects and maintain a focus on collaborative problem solving.We’ll look to you to implement UX/UI best practice and apply a wide range of techniques such as: information architecture mapping, user journey mapping, workshop facilitation, ideation, prototyping.How will I add value in this role?Delivers impactful solutions that solve customer problems and move business metricsEnsure the UX process is followed, and decisions are made based on research and dataAble to measure success of design workSupport the delivery of product roadmaps, working with the Product Owners and Dev teamsEnsure a smooth handover to development and ensure what is developed matches the designShare best practice and new innovations that you come across in the wider industryContribute to growing a customer-centric culture by helping the business understand what UX/UI is and how we add valueContribute to the design system by creating and documenting components to be used throughout the digital experienceWhat do I need in order to deliver in the role?You have a strong understanding of Design thinking, Accessibility and Design Systems and why they’re important in order to communicate the importance to stakeholders and get buy-in.You’ll be highly proficient in using Figma and have experience of contributing to design systemsYou can identify and compare the best processes to use, including measuring and evaluating outcomes.You're a champion for the customer’s voice and you support and challenge teams to make sure design decisions are backed by data and insightsYou can facilitate workshops and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to solve problemsHave experience of agile workingYou’ll be able to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environmentYou can absorb large amounts of conflicting information and use it to make simple designsParticipate in user research and testing activities and draw the insight needed to make informed and user centred design decisionsWork closely with stakeholders to ensure what is designed is commercially viable and technically feasibleDemonstrate behaviours aligned to our values of we challenge, care and commitAs a recognised Top 50 Inclusive Employer in the UK, we know that diversity means success and innovation.
